COVID Guidelines

Faith is committed to the highest safety standards to ensure the health and well-being of every person entrusted by God to the care of this congregation. We ask everyone to join us as we work together to keep each other safe.

While we’d love to see each of you in-person, we know there are some limitations that may prevent you from attending. We ask that you please continue worshiping online and/or participating in the life of the church in our hyrbid/virtual platforms  if you find yourself in a high-risk category.

  • While Faith’s efforts to prevent attendee’s exposure to the Covid virus has been successful, the most current CDC recommendation is to wear masks while indoors in group settings. Unvaccinated individuals, including children under the age of 12, and individuals at increased risk of infection and not wearing masks are at higher risk of becoming infected by Covid and/or of infecting other persons. Recent reinfections of vaccinated persons has also, rarely, occurred. However, not masking remains a personal decision to accept that increased risk and responsibility.
  • THE USE OF FACE MASKS IS NOW RECOMMENDED INDOORS IN GROUP SETTINGS, AND CONTINUES TO BE REQUIRED IN AREAS USED BY FAMILY OF FAITH PRESCHOOL & DAYCARE.
  • Please know that guidelines are subject to change based on daily information for the safety and wellness of our worshiping community.
  • We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, our friends, and staff. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting Faith Presbyterian Church.
  • By visiting Faith Presbyterian Church you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

Whether or not you are able to return to physical gatherings at this time, the most important thing is that we stay spiritually and relationally connected as a church family – in-person or online! We will continue to provide online worship, if this is the best option for you and your family, please utilize this option to stay connected in this season!

In-Person Worship

What you can expect from us.

  • We have increased cleaning and disinfecting (including before and after all services) to adhere to CDC guidelines.
  • Doors will be propped open or held open by volunteers with masks to minimize attendees touching surfaces
  • Items such as bulletins, Bibles and hymnals will not be available. We encourage you to utilize the Faith Engagement App to access the friendship pad, prayer request, giving, and more.
  • On-Site Children, Youth, and Adult Bible Study is available in both in-person and hybrid format.
  • Worship Activity Bags are available to support families with children to worship together.
  • The unattended “Wiggle Room” (formerly known as the “Cry Room”) is available for those with young children. The nursery for children 0-3 years of age is also available at this time. Please see an usher or staff member.
  • Multiple hand sanitizer stations will be available.
  • Reduced worship service length.

What we ask of you.

  • Do not attend on-site (or remote viewing parties!) if you have had any symptoms of illness within the past 14 days or have been around anyone else with symptoms of illness in that time, even if you don’t feel ill.
  • Enter through the main Sanctuary doors, clearly labeled by floor guides (dots).
  • We encourage you to keep a physical distance from other attendees (6+ feet); please wave and say hello from a distance. We know it will be hard not to shake hands and hug, but please do your best to protect yourself and others.
  • Please use the sanitizer available for your convenience.
  • Following worship the ushers will open all the exit doors for your safe and timely exit.
