The Ministry of Generosity at Faith Presbyterian Church

WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

At Faith Presbyterian we know that generosity is an important part of what it means to be a member of this congregation. Generosity is about returning to God something of what God has given to us. It is a very real and meaningful way to express both our faith and our gratitude to God. When each of us gives as we are able, together we help support the mission and ministers within our church, our community and the world.
Estimate of giving

WHAT IS AN ESTIMATE OF GIVING?

An estimate of giving is the amount you intend to give to Faith and can be changed at any time, either increased or decreased, if your financial circumstances change,

WHY SHOULD I MAKE AN ESTIMATE OF GIVING?

Estimating how much you will give allows you to make intentional decisions about your giving to the church. Receiving this Estimate of Giving to Faith Presbyterian Church allows us to plan wisely for the use of our resources in support of the mission and ministry to which God has called us. The Session and Finance Committee can set a budget based on the total amount pledged to the church. Plate offerings are important to the congregation, but your Estimate of Giving lets us plan more accurately for the ministry we can accomplish in the upcoming year.

HOW MUCH SHOULD I GIVE?

Determining how much to give is between you and God. However, as you make this important decision, reflecting your vision of stewardship may be beneficial. Some ways to think about our giving include:

  • I give to return a portion of my blessings – a sense of gratitude
  • I give to keep church ministries vital – a sense of generosity
  • I give because I want God’s love shared with others – a sense of discipleship
AMOUNT MATTERS

EVERY GIFT, EVERY AMOUNT MATTERS

Whatever you feel moved to give makes a difference and is appreciated.
